New appointments will help college prepare for success
Two recent appointments to the leadership team at Marist Catholic College North Sydney will help ensure all students are well cared for when the new K-12 college opens its doors in 2021.
Richard Grech has been appointed Assistant Principal: Strategy and Transition for the new school, while Brigid Taylor has been named the Assistant Principal of Marist College North Shore, which will become the college’s secondary campus.
Preparations have already commenced for the arrival of the first co-educational Year 7 class, and both new roles will be pivotal in leading the new college and its network of primary schools forward. Formerly the Assistant Principal at Marist College North Shore, Mr Grech will use his existing relationships within the school community to help students and staff prepare for and manage the college’s transition.
His role will include developing relationships with students at St Mary’s North Sydney, which will become the new school’s primary campus. He will also work with Sacred Heart Mosman, Blessed Sacrament Clifton Gardens and St Michael’s Lane Cove to ensure local Catholic students feel welcome if they choose to attend secondary school at Marist. “I am excited about working with staff, students and the community to bring the vision for the precinct and network to life,” he said.
